Gramin Vikas Sanstha was founded by Respected Late Shri. Krushnaraoji Zoting Patil in 1961. Shri Krushnaraoji Zoting Patil devoted himself to educate the people by establishing colleges and schools far and wide in Hinganghat Taluka. He was a man of masses who devoted all his mind and heart to the cause of education.

Hon'ble Raobahadur Late Shri Ramchandrarao Sundarnarayan Bidkar who generously donated the land for removing the social ills that beset his times and fully realised the dire need of the spread of education. He believed that eduation alone could correct the social ills such as illiteracy, untouchability, superstitions, social and ecconomically inequality.
